These Terms of Service govern your use of GrantBuddy, operated by Innovista Management GmbH.

1. Service Description

GrantBuddy provides automated feedback on grant proposals, including scores, narrative feedback, and inline annotations.

2. Accounts

You must provide a valid email address and keep your account credentials secure.

3. Credits and Payment

  • Each new account receives 1 free preview credit.
  • Paid credits can be purchased individually or in packs.
  • Paid credits expire 1 year after purchase.
  • Payments are processed securely by Stripe.
  • Standard GrantBuddy credits cover fixed-price automated reviews only. Any success-based advisory package requires a separate written agreement.

4. Your Content

  • You retain ownership of uploaded documents.
  • You grant us a limited license to process documents solely to provide the service.
  • Your documents are never used to train AI models.

5. Automated Feedback

GrantBuddy provides automated feedback, scores, annotations, and suggested rewrites for informational and decision-support purposes only. The output may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or unsuitable for your specific grant context. GrantBuddy does not provide legal, financial, tax, grant-consulting, or professional advisory services, and does not guarantee eligibility, compliance, evaluator scores, funding decisions, or any other outcome. You are solely responsible for reviewing the output, verifying it against official programme documents, and deciding what to submit.

6. Acceptable Use

  • Do not upload illegal or infringing content.
  • Do not share your account credentials.
  • Do not circumvent credits, payments, or access controls.

7. Limitation of Liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Innovista Management GmbH is not liable for funding decisions, rejected applications, missed deadlines, lost opportunities, business losses, reputational harm, indirect damages, consequential damages, or reliance on automated output. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the affected review.
